CASAA Annual Scholarship

To encourage undergraduate students in their pursuit of a liberal arts education, the Colleges of Arts and Sciences Alumni Association (CASAA) has established a scholarship program in which up to two (2) students will receive a $1,000 cash award to assist with education expenses.

The Colleges of Arts and Sciences Alumni Association was established in 1993 to “serve as a valuable link between the Colleges and the community in promoting awareness and appreciation of, and pride in, the lifetime value of a liberal education obtained from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa.”

To be eligible for the CASAA scholarship, a student must be a resident of the State of Hawai‘i; be a full-time junior or senior at UH Manoa with a declared Arts & Sciences major; have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5; have some degree of financial need; and have already received or intend to receive 50% of the undergraduate degree requirements from UH Manoa.

Congratulations to the following 2009 Recipients!

Michele Hamada, Speech Communication/Psychology
Lee Ying Kwok, English
